Affiliated Community Health Foundation (ACHF)

Founded in 2002, ACHF recognizes the importance of educating the healthcare professionals of tomorrow. We also recognize that there is an immediate need to encourage medical careers in our local communities. The demand for physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals will continue to rise as our population ages.

ACHF Scholarships offer financial support to students committed to a healthcare profession. Scholarships are awarded directly to individuals and through partnerships with Ridgewater College, St. Cloud Technical & Community College and Alexandria Technical College.

ACHF offers educational scholarships for the following health care professions:

  • Physician, MD or DO
  • Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Medical Assistant
  • Medical Coding Specialist
  • Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Ultrasound Technologist

Family Medicine Physician, Dr. Amber Vick.

Reach Out and Read
Since 2006, ACHF also supports the purchase of more than 10,000 books annually to be given to children, ages 6 months to 5 years at their well-child visits through the Reach Out and Read program. Our goal is to stress the importance of early childhood literacy development and encourage parents to foster reading as a primary tool in their child's development. Affiliated Community Health Foundation is a 501c3, non-profit foundation and is governed by its own Board of Directors.
