GI Endoscopy

The ACMC-Marshall Surgery Center GI Endoscopy physicians provide a number of endoscopy procedures to treat the full spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases.

Intestinal disorders:

  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease
  • Esophageal strictures
  • Esophageal motility disorders (e.g. achalasia, esophageal spasm)
  • Peptic ulcer disease
  • Gastroparesis (delayed emptying of the stomach)
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g. Crohn's, ulceratives colitis, lymphocytic colitis)
  • Other diarrheal disorders (e.g. celiac disease, parasitic disease, Clostridium difficille)
  • Other causes of constipation (e.g. colonic inertia, pelvic floor dysfunction)
  • Intestinal polyps and tumors
  • Gastrointestinal bleeding
  • Attributable to bariatric surgery
