11/06/17 - Family Nurse Practitioner, Terri Malecek, Begins New Role at ACMC-Redwood Falls


ACMC Health is excited to announce that Terri Malecek has joined our Family Medicine team as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Redwood Falls beginning November 2017. She recently graduated from South Dakota State University with her Post Master's Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

She previously received her BSN for RN and went on to earn her MSN for advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), Clinical Nurse Specialist, from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Terri is not new to ACMC's system. She has worked as an APRN, Clinic Nurse Specialist in the Willmar Diabetes Center since 2008, seeing patients in Willmar, Marshall and Redwood Falls. She also served as the Diabetes Center Manager from 2010-2014. Prior to her role with the Willmar Diabetes Center Terri also worked as an RN in the Surgical Services department at Redwood Area Hospital, and as an RN on Adult Health and PACU at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

Terri is also in her 19th year of service as an Army Nurse with the MN Army National Guard, and currently holds the rank of Major.

In her new role, Terri will work together with family medicine physician Dr. Michelle Cilek, in a shared practice model, providing a wide range of healthcare services for families and individuals.
